Salisbury Cathedral School Wedding Reception

Wedding photography at Salisbury Cathedral School with Claire and Matt

For Claire and Matt, this was the second part of their wedding. Their official ceremony was in April but with Covid restrictions it was a much smaller wedding, so 100 days later and with less restrictions on weddings, Claire and Matt managed to enjoy part 2 of their wedding.

Considering it was 100 days since the ceremony, it seemed only like yesterday when I saw some of those familiar faces which was great to see. It was also great to see and hear how Claire and Matt have been getting on as a married couple (Apart from some drawer rearrangement issues, everything is going well!!!)

Matts parents did the flowers again which were a logistic challenge but definitely worth it, especially as last time I took a couple of Tulip pots back and this time some Lillys, which are still in full bloom!!!

Typically for August in the UK, the weather was not being kind. One minute the sun was out, the next it was a torrential down pour, but everyone still managed to get outside during the breaks in the weather, although one group shot was caught short and everyone had to do a very quick dash for cover!!!

The grounds of Salisbury Cathedral school are just stunning, with the obvious backdrop of Salisbury Cathedral so we made best use of those where we could. Other times it was just trying to find somewhere that had cover from the rain.

This wedding reception adds quite nicely to the first collection so there will be lots of options to choose from.

As always, weddings are about all of the people enjoying the day, and that’s what I record, so please enjoy this little snap shot of the day. The final collection has lots more.
