Lucy and Chris said they don’t take a good photo and not keen on posing, but after the pre shoot I think they were pleasantly surprised on how good they look and on the day they were perfect!!
What a wonderful start to the year this was, although a little bit chilly (Certainly the church) it was super photography weather conditions, overcast and not too bright!
Bridal prep started at Syrencot and it was all very chilled with the girls getting ready, the Billiard room is such a great room for preparations and nicely lit inside.
Amesbury Church was the ceremony location which all went very well, confetti was also super (I always give a little brief before hand) which means people hide their phones and use their eyes to remember those moments.
Back to Syrencot where I met up with Dean, who I met last year at Syrencot (https://www.djdeanjohn.co.uk) who was helping with the hosting, he works really well with the amazing staff at Syrencot. Syrencot has just got better and better since they opened where I shot the first ever wedding there with Piotor and Wayne. The team at Syrencot really make a difference, a lot of the guests are from a catering background and they were all very impressed with the service, food and venue.
We had a small relaxed escape after the big group shot (Thanks again Syrencot for the ladder) and then it was time for the meal and this is where Dean definitely livened up the afternoon with the reading some marriage advice messages and a couple quiz.
Before we knew it the evening kicked in and enlisted the help of a young man to be my assistant and photographer as we went round to capture some informal groups, he did really well and took on the advice like a pro! in 10 years time he might be back at Syrencot doing his own weddings!!!
I can’t not mention Caleb in this little post as that little man just took the whole in in his stride, just watching and so very chilled!
Lucy and Chris, you were the perfect couple, your family were so welcoming and so much fun.
