So what’s this pre shoot all about then?

Its a chance for you to get used to me, the camera and having your photo taken. It really is that simple, but so worthwhile.

  • David took incredible photos of my wedding day. We had organised a photo prep opportunity a few weeks before the wedding, to learn how to stand and how to not look awkward when the photos were being taken. This was very much appreciated as we felt more prepared for how to look natural on the day.

  • He really went the extra mile to put as at ease for the pre-shoot - helping us to ensure that one the day we were at ease, comfortable and connected.

  • Meeting him for a trial/rehearsal a month before the wedding was very helpful; he gave us lots of helpful tips and it allowed us to get used to being photographed so that we were (slightly) less awkward on the day!

  • He really put us at ease on the day which helped to make sure the pictures came out relaxed and natural. We particularly appreciated how David took time before the wedding to get a sense of what we wanted out of our photos, and the end results demonstrate that - mostly natural, candid shots but with the groups and formal shots we wanted too. Lastly we were so impressed with David’s ability to ensure that there were photos of all our guests and no one was missed off. Can’t recommend enough - thanks so much!!

  • We met David for a preshoot before the big day and he completely put us at ease, which was invaluable on the day as I would have been nervous with the camera otherwise. David was very accommodating when it came to booking, postponing due to covid and arranging both the preshoot and our wedding - he knew what our day was likely to entail and we felt very relaxed as he explained how it would go.

  • David was absolutely fantastic - professional, funny and his photographs were beautiful. David met with us for a pre-shoot a few weeks before the wedding which made us both feel at ease and give us some really helpful pointers. On the day David captured our most important moments as well as the smaller moments that we weren’t able to see ourselves. His personality meant that he could put both us and our guests at ease to capture some truly beautiful photographs.

The Preshoot - Not really an Engagement shoot as that sounds a bit twee and sickly
