The wedding of Hayley and Leon at The Manor Barn, WInterbourne Stoke.

What a glorious day for a wedding!!! I love a local wedding and i couldn’t get much closer than this gorgeous wedding day with Hayley and Leon.

As a Shrewton Wedding Photographer it is just great to have the Bridal prep nice and close in Shrewton.  Hayley had booked Rollestone Manor https://rollestonemanor.com in Shrewton to get ready and then the ceremony and reception were just down at The Manor Barn in WInterbourne Stoke https://www.manorbarnwilts.co.uk

I always check the weather from a week out and what was planned as an over cast but warm day ended up being very sunny indeed…This is brilliant for everyone, less for the photographer as bright sun does make things a little difficult although having some good light coming through was very nice…

So on the day i met Hayley and and the girls getting ready upstairs in Rollestone Manor and things were all nice calm (The brides are always calm!!!).  In the room was a massive bath so we had to use that as a prop and no encouragement from me at all!!!  A beautiful moment was when Hayley’s Dad saw her for the first time.I love shots like that!!

I then quickly zoomed down to the Barn and everything was running nice and smoothly with Pippa being just great as always.  The ceremony was a lovely affair with some very entertaining readings. We then retired back to the outside for nibbles and drinks, quickly got through some groups (Evil sun was out) so i had to put everyone in a bit of shade, but it all worked out well….The boys of course had to have their stag do picture with stags (I admit that was my idea!!) and then everyone shuffled in for the wedding breakfast after a big group shot with me perched onto of a wobbly ladder!!

The speeches were a good giggle with lots of laughter and a few tears, during the breaks i got a few tables out for some fun competition shoots and my hat goes off to everyone for their creativeness..I am sure Hayley and Leon will be deciding on a winner!!

We then went off for 15 mins of quiet time which is great for the bride and groom to just chat while i set up my flash kit and quite simply take their portraits…The it was straight back in for a cake cut and the first dance…So before i knew it, it was time to finish off after a few more candids.

Please enjoy looking through the little snippet from Hayley and Leon's beautiful day, the full collection will be delivered soon so all friends and family please speak to Hayley for the link to all of those…
