Guyers House Weddings
A simply gorgeous wedding in Wiltshire with Amy and Alex at Guyers House.
Wow, what an amazing fun filled day and so much Love!!!! Amy and Alex are just 2 super humans, what they have is so very special and I know for a fact they will be spending their whole lives together having fun and living life to the full. From our pre shoot in Stourhead I could tell that on the day there would be no awkward or fake posing, all 100% natural.
But anyway, back to this lush wedding. We all met up at Amy’s Mums house for some bridal prep, it was great to see Greg again who I usually see twice a year on the video and also Ollie who was doing the main video. Chantel also came along to help out and get a different aspect on a wedding. Bridal prep was just easy, and we got to see Amy’s beautiful hand made dress which also had the same material as Alex’s amazing jacket (It was also a surprise as Alex didn’t know).
Just as we left the house there was a small splatter of rain, but umbrellas always look cool and the walk was less than 100m. The ceremony went like clockwork and before we knew it it was time for confetti (Great work on getting so much confetti!!!) The confetti literally went everywhere and I even got covered in it but we have some great photos.
Next stop was Guyers house where I heard some great violin being played and then I saw Liz doing her thing…..I met Liz a couple of years ago and I always recommend her services and she literally mingles with the guests while playing….Just brilliant and something quite different too.
We had some time for a few groups and as everyone went in for the meal we stayed out and captured some lovely Bridal photos with just Alex and Amy. Food, speeches, candids and a great Bridal party quick photo session all took place before the cutting of the cake and some dancing….These 2 can also dance very well!!!!
Weddings like this don’t seem like I am working - Everyone was just so friendly and fun which makes the photographers job sooooo easy!!!. Amy, Alex, your family and friends, thank you for welcoming us and just letting us do our thing. The eventual collection will be well over 1000 images, but until then please have a little look through the collection below which will hopefully give you a little snap shot from the day.
