Syrencot Wedding Photography with Ilona and Tom

Bride and Groom in front of Syrencot wedding venue

Syrencot is one of the latest wedding venues in Wiltshire, they only opened this summer and I was lucky enough to be the first wedding photographer at Syrencot with Piotr and Wayne. With Syrencot only being 15 mins from me, it is definitely a wedding venue that I will be seeing much more, especially as I have another 4 booked there for next year already.

The main house is gorgeous and the billiard room in Syrencot where couples get ready is really done well with lots of lovely light coming in from the main roof windows. This is where I met up with the girls getting ready and such a hive of activity which was the complete opposite of the very calm room where Tom and the boys were staying as it was all very chilled watching videos on how to tie a bow tie and a bit of ironing going on too!!

Just a 2 min walk through Syrencot Gardens is the Glass house and this is where the ceremony took place, its a really nice walk from the house for the wedding party and fortunately the rain had stopped because all morning it hammering it down.

The ceremony was just super with a heart felt reading from Tom’s mum and Ilona’s mum singing a song from the owl and the pussy cat, we quickly then did the confetti mixed with bubbles and then another ceremony outside. We didn’t have long before it was time to sit down so speed was key here to get everything done with the available light. so we headed back to the house to get some of the VW camper with the bridal party then some family shots and big group shot, then it was time to go inside for the wedding breakfast.

Now the food a Syrencot is definitely something very special, from the tasty canapés to the main meal was just scrumptious! So if you like your food then Syrencot is definitely the wedding venue for you. The staff were also brilliant leaving nothing to chance with everything running like clock work and very professional.

Speeches and meal zoomed by and I always like to hear a bit more about the couple in the speeches with some great moments, a super poem from Tom’s Mum all about him and also what Tom got uptown at Christmas with his Brother’s advent calendar!

We also managed a very quick escape in-between the starter and main for some bridal portraits.

And then we were all set for the evening fun and what a fantastic ceilidh band they booked for the entertainment! Probably one of the best ceilidh bands I have seen as sometimes it all gets very confusing but with Syrencot’s huge dance area there was enough room for everyone to dance away!!!

Ilona and Tom thank you so much for just letting me just do my thing and I hope this small selection for you very extensive collection bring back some great memories.
