Corsham Wedding photography with Hannah and Sam

Covid lock down and a lot of social distancing meant that like so many of my fellow wedding photographers and the wedding industry, everything came to a grinding halt in March.

Fast forward 6 months and I get to shoot my first wedding of 2020 in August!! Fortunately, most of my 2020 weddings have now been happily moved to 2021 so I think 2021 will be a busy year.

So my first wedding of 2020, not quite what Hannah and Sam had planned but I really like the smaller and personal weddings and although there was no big party afterwards, it really didn’t matter. I think the slightly bigger celebration will be next year in the gorgeous Grittleton House.

Wearing a face mask in church wasn’t really a problem for most, and everyone was nicely separated, my only issue was due to me wearing a face mask, my eye sensor kept on steaming up which was not ideal, but I managed to get by ok.

The Vicar was great and just let me do my thing (which is always good). These photos represent a gorgeous wedding during some very different times, but it really was a lovely ceremony, some very special readings by family and friends as we couldn’t do the singing part.

Once the ceremony was complete we had some very cool group photos (The boys wanted to climb the tree!!!) and then a quick 15 mins with Hannah and Sam before they went back for a socially distanced gathering in the garden.

Hannah and Sam, I am really looking forward to part 2 next year, where we will build on this lovely collection of memories. Please enjoy this little snippet from the day and we look forward to capturing lots more in 2021.
