Wellington Barn Weddings with Michelle and Richard
Written By David Scammell
Now I haven’t been to Wellington Barn in a while so it was great to be back and see those views again!
Michelle and Richard went for a church service first of all which was really lovely (Such powerful LED lighting too) The forecast didn’t look too bad but it definitely rained on and off all day. So the church groups were just by the side entrance so people were still covered and Michelle did not want the dress to be ruined so we took extra care and had the bridesmaids hold the dress during the confetti line which was great for catching lots of confetti but also meant the dress didn’t get wet before we got to Wellington Barn.
Michelle and Richard are such caring and loving parents to their gorgeous daughters (Elsie, Maisie & Adaline) who all took an active role in the day, but it was so lovely to see that they made the children a big part of the day and included them where ever the girls wanted. So I made sure I got lots of photos of those little people throughout the day and even managed some of Adaline without anything in her mouth, but they all did really well with Elsie always appearing for a photo.
I would highly recommend bubble guns to entertain children during a wedding, although I got covered in bubbles we got some super photos of everyone having fun.
In the gaps between the rain clouds we managed to keep on popping out for some groups but the clear patches didn’t last long so it was time to run back in quickly. We did manage to get out later in the evening for some gorgeous couple photos.
Please enjoy this little collection of some of my faves and the finished collection will have hundreds more :)
