Wellington Barn Wedding Photography with Jo and James

Wellington Barn is a stunning venue nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, this charming barn offers a unique blend of rustic elegance and modern amenities. The spacious interiors feature high ceilings and beautiful wooden beams, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for weddings. With its breathtaking backdrop, Wellington Barn is perfect for capturing natural, candid moments that reflect the genuine emotions of your special day. The outdoor areas provide ample opportunities for stunning photography that showcases the beauty of the setting, ensuring your wedding memories are as delightful as the venue itself. Whether you envision an intimate celebration or a grand occasion, Wellington Barn is an exquisite choice that epitomises the romance and beauty of the countryside.

So let’s get into the day, and what a fun filled wedding this was with Jo and James. Jo doesn’t like faff so went for getting ready at Wellington Barn, which makes it easier for everyone! Seeing Jo being cut out of her T shirt was a first for me but let me know the theme of the day will be hilarious! Dancing down the aisle with her sister was quite special as it meant something but was light hearted and fun rather than usual nerves and doing what everyone else did! The ceremony was nice and quick (No faff) and straight into the confetti line, and so much colourful confetti which went everywhere including down Jo’s dress!!! Jo finished the line off with her special wave to everyone!!!! :)

We then moved onto the groups and of course they couldn’t be normal, lots of 5 second challenge photos brought out the best in everyone, next came the meal and selected members on each table were designated as chefs, to carve up the meat, and of course those photos didn’t disappoint either. We escaped for some couple photos in between which were very chilled and then onto the speeches, again filling the room with laughter.

As the evening drew in it was time for the dancing and guess what more fun on the dance floor! Jo and her sister performed Withering Heights by Kate Bush which was just brilliant and then to finish my part of the story telling was a surprise flash mob with everyone joining in wearing masks of James, which was just hilarious!

Jo and James, you two are perfect for each other, even your grandad said her would be a whole pound that you will stay together (And he is not a betting man!) Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day in the way you really wanted it, no faff and lots of fun!

Here is just a small selection of some of my faves from the final collection, please enjoy looking through them and bringing back some super happy memories!
