A Beautiful wedding day celebration at Riverside Hotel in Salisbury with Beatrice and George
What an amazing family focused wedding day this was with Beatrice and George. I haven’t been to the Riverside Hotel in Harnham before but a super hidden little gem of a wedding venue this is! As the name suggests the hotel sits on the rive with beautiful views over to the cathedral. There is lots of space outside on the veranda and also down to the river bank, they even have a huge giraffe!
I first met Beatrice and George for their pre shoot in Shrewton and although initially quite nervous of what was to come, they very quickly relaxed into it all and we captured the real them (Which is the aim of the pre shoot) So on the day I met up the girls getting ready upstairs and although it was 2 hours before the wedding all of the bridesmaids and Beatrice’s Mum were already ready, so talk about being prepared. After some beautiful moment with Beatrice’s Dad seeing her in the dress for the first time it was off to the church.
I approach every location as a lighting puzzle to solve, but my goodness the church was a tough one, no much natural light and the main lights pointed any direction apart from where the action was happening at the top, but I loved it in the end and after the ceremony we did confetti followed by the formal groups. With rain clouds looming it had to be done quickly and thanks to the ushers everyone was ready to go.
It was then back to The Riverside hotel for canapés, lots of candids and then the speeches, it all just happened so quickly and before we knew it the meal was done so a quick group photo, some fun with the wedding party group shots and the first dance.
I met some lovely people on the day and Beatrice and George, you are just the sweetest loveliest humans ever!!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day and welcoming me into your celebrations. Please enjoy this very small snippet from your day.
