The Tithe Barn Weddings with Sammey and Ivan
What an absolutely amazing day shared with family and good friends!!!!
It was luck, good fortune or even fate that Sammey phoned me only a couple of weeks prior to their wedding as their original photographer couldn't make it on the day so she asked her friends for some recommendations and hey presto all sorted!!!
I could tell we were up for a good day from our pre shoot and i knew these two gorgeous people will be just great, so much fun and giggles!!!!
I have never been down to the Tithe Barn, Ditcham Farm before but what a stunning location, it has everything a wedding couple could need and more, the staff were also brilliant and couldn't do enough for everyone.
A little bit of bridal prep is always good to start the day off and get to meet the girls who looked amazing!!! I love the buzz and air of anticipation mixed with excitement and as there were a few Bridesmaids it makes it even better to feed of their energy.
Quickly popping out i met the boys who looked great and very dapper in their wedding suits, showing that bit of class, almost like a boy band (Although i'm not sure on their singing capabilities!!!!)
The Ceremony was lovely with a few emotional moments.....The lighting was a mixture of natural light and Tungsten, so for all of the photographers out there, you know how difficult it can be with mixed lighting sources and it was quite low lit, but gave off a gorgeous ambiance.
After the ceremony we jumped into the confetti line and some impromptu dancing by Ivan. The rest of the day was just so chilled and relaxed, we zoomed through the groups and after spotting the shepard's hut i knew we had to have some groups around there.
Food (Thank you for a place at the table, it meant a lot), wine and laughter then ensued, with some great speeches, even more laughter (And the odd tear)....After the meal we captured some more groups with everyone and then jumped into the first dance. Of course these 2 bundles of fun didn't disappoint on the dancing side and managed to throw some moves out there and also come back together for some great couple shots.
The day finished off with some quiet time for Bridal portraits (We got some lovely relaxed shots here), a little bit more dancing and then it was time for me to leave around 10pm.
Sammey and Ivan, i would like to thank your previous photographer for not being available as it gave me the opportunity and huge privilege to record your day and capture those special moments. Your families are just lovely, Bridesmaids, Maid of Honour, flower girl were just so gorgeous. The Sheffield gang...WOW!!!! I have to do a wedding in Sheffield!!! and everyone else at your special day just made me feel so welcome.
Not forgetting the stars of the Day, a huge thank you to Sammey and Ivan, you both looked amazing (Sammey more than Ivan of course) and were just the perfect bride and groom. Wedding photographers can sometimes be left out on the wings, but on this very special day i was treated like a guest (Albeit with a couple of cameras permanently attached to me) and it's days like these that really make you appreciate being a wedding photographer.
Thank you and please enjoy this small collection of images from the say (There are another 800 like these in the full collection!!!)
