Pythouse Kitchen Garden wedding with Alex and Andrew

"Life is a road best travelled in tandem"

Pythouse Kitchen Garden is an absolutely gorgeous wedding location hidden away in Wiltshire and one of my new favourite wedding venues. Pythouse Kitchen Garden is not only beautiful and completely unique but it really does have charm and just sooooooo quaint and quirky.

So what a perfect location for Alex and Andrew to hold their wedding at such a gorgeous location.   The ceremony took place at Pythouse Orangery which is a glorious single storey building built in the 1800's.

All of the guests arrived in style on a vintage Double Decker Bus and i think none of them actually knew where they were going either, so the look of wonder and awe as everyone got off the bus was just great.

Alex and the wedding party arrived and we managed to get a few candids and group shots, the balloons were just perfect and definitely made for some great photos.  A little walk over to the Orangery and hey presto the ceremony was underway. As i expected the ceremony was just delightful with some poignant readings and of course just a few tears.

After the ceremony and much admiring the tandem bike (A lot of time , love and effort went into the restoration by Andrew) which had the inscription "Life is a road best travelled in tandem" we hit the groups and of course some of my now nearly famous 5 second challenges.....Wow!!!!! What an absolutely fun group who just got better and better....We had people jumping, posing and even a head in a hedge!!!! Just so much fun and a nice change from the formal pictures.

After the boys nearly had a collision with the bus while on the Tandem the weather turned and started to rain a little bit, which was perfect timing as we all walked up to Phyhouse Kitchen garden for the wedding reception. Sitting on tractors, discussing the amazing BBQ food, Smoke bubbles and generally lots of laughter were just a few of the highlights.  The meal and speeches all just happened so quickly with the final moments producing a lovely speech by Alex and proof she can tie a knot!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to record Alex and Andrew's very special wedding day at Pythouse,  in fact it was a privilege to to gain an insight and capture so many happy memories with all of their very close family and friends.  THANK YOU.

I hope you enjoy looking through this small selection of images from what was definitely not your typical wedding (That's why i love it!!!)...
