The Gathering Barn Weddings with Kate and Will

New Years Eve is quite special for many people so what better way to Enhance NYE than have a wedding at the Gathering barn in Wiltshire and what a wedding celebration this was! Kate and Will were just so chilled though out the day and even though we had some light scattering of rain we survived quite well and it wasn’t too cold either!

For anyone thinking about booking the Gathering Barn for their wedding day, then all I can say is book it! This amazing venue literally has everything any couple could want and being able to be there for a few days before hand is even better! It takes everything so stress free on the day.

So on the day I initially popped in to see the boys getting ready in the cottage and had a sneak preview of the order of service, but the title is not for consumption for this blog! After that I popped back over to the barn to see Kate and the girls getting ready, again there was an air of calmness around the place with no stress at all. Kate was in her dress and ready well before time (Very organised!!!).

The ceremony was really lovely with their friend delivering the service with some great reading, it was then confetti time and just as everyone went out it started to rain so we went for a very quick dash but got some great shots and there was so much confetti too!

We then did the majority of groups inside and then it was time for food supplied by the totally brilliant Vaughns Kitchen so it was super to Peter and Jurghita again. The last part of the meal was the speeches and I have never seen a play which portrayed Will from birth to the current day with some incredibly imaginative work by all the team! Highlight has to be some ballet lessons and of course Will’s actual Birth!!

The band were also brilliant and finished the evening off with some great music, so all in all what a perfect celebration on NYE. Kate and Will, you were both so cool, calm and collected the entire day so was a total pleasure being part of your wedding day at the Gathering Barn.

This is just a small selection from absolutely hundreds more, so please sit back, click on the first image and view as a slide show. :)
