Every now and then when I meet a couple and we chat through their day I just know that their wedding is going to be something very special. Totally unique, a little bit different, absolutely fun and a real celebration of their family and friends. That’s what Becky and Richy wanted for their day and WOW it certainly lived up my expectations and more! Absolutely genuine and real - That is probably how I would describe the whole day and what a privilege to have been there to tell the story of such a celebration and party!

I don’t think words can describe how perfect this amazing wedding was, but I will try and write something as this wedding day deserves to be celebrated and I really do hope I can find more couples who want to do something just a bit different from the traditional wedding. Bridal preparations took place at Becky’s Mums house and this is where I met all of the Bridesmaids and other family members. Becky was just so chilled and patiently waited for her time to be finished off with the hair and makeup. While a calm flurry of activity was happening all around her.

This was also a wedding embracing, Doc Martens, tattoos and individuality, from Becky’s multi coloured sequin dress (looked amazing) to all of the Bridesmaids dressed in Black - Absolutely brilliant, and the boys! wow, how cool did they look!!! Flat caps, waistcoats, beards and all matching….Pure class!!! Richy’s suit was just incredible and he carried it off so well! (What a wedding party!!!)

The Ceremony was just magical, lots of tears and so many smiles especially from Ricky aka Richy! The children made speeches along with Richy and there was not many dry eyes in the congregation or those delivering words spoken from the heart!

Confetti followed the ceremony and i’m glad Becky ordered double the amount as there was just so much of it!!

After the ceremony it was time for people to catch up, drink and eat lots before the best Pie and Mash was served up - No one was left hungry or thirsty on this day! Pudding was Brownies and strawberries made by Becky’s Mum and they were just delicious (I might have had one or two!!)… The most amazing singing lady with the voice of an angel performed her song simply entitled Becky and Richy from her music book….This then rolled into the evening for the party!!!! In between this we had boys in boats, and out of them! some groups, more fun and just a great party vibe for everyone - Young and a little bit older!!!

Weddings are about people and I love capturing people here are a few of the most genuine people ever!

Becky and Richy, thank you so much for letting me into your incredibly special day and trusting me to tell your story or love, laughter and lunges!!!!! I loved every minute as did all of your family and friends - Definitely a wedding I will remember for a long time.
